Thanks for doing the research and posting this information. It is one of good reasons to buy new if you want the car for seven years and like to have a warranty - you get a great warranty at a relatively good price.

When Jeff was around, I got a quote from him that was 3k less than my dealer, then I went back to my dealer and in a nano second they matched his price.

 

I also got a 7 year / 75k ELW from Brandon strong just 2 weeks ago.

my warranty expired on Dec 2 and I got my warranty on Dec 12. He was able to backdate it for me.

I have a 2022 GLS 450. Jeff had previously quoted me 5300 in March this year but I got lazy and didn’t proceed. Till in November I tried to reach out again and Jeff was no longer there.

I got lazy again and got in touch with Brandon on Dec 12. He gave me a quote of 5600. I just moved ahead and bought it on the spot.

Payment link , pay with credit card. Etc. Receive pdf confirmation.

The PDF contract he gave you is your proof of purchase.

If you stop by your dealer, and ask your service advisor to pull up the VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry) Report, it should show it there.

Yes i corresponded with him on an extended CPO warranty n Jan 26th. I just wrote him back to see if he will match another quote.

 

Brandon is available. I just did an extension with him. He beat all other quotes with no tax or cc fees.

 

I just finished my searched and used this forum a lot so adding some data points.

The below are for a 2022 GLE350 for both 2 year CPO & 3 year PPM purchases.

Summary:

I called several dealers, the best quoted were Brandon at MB Louisville and the business manager at MB Austin. MB Austin originally under cut Brandon’s quoted, but added a 3% card fee so it ended up being more than Brandon’s after the fee was added.

MB Austin first quoted me $6700 after I told them I had received a quote from someone else (Brandon) for $6870. I then told Brandon and he matched their quote no hesitation.

Mercedes Bonita Springs FL - $7950 + 3% CC fee & tax

Mercedes Louisville KY- $6700 no CC fee or tax

Mercedes Austin TX - $6700 no tax + 3%CC fee

Mind breaking down the cost on the $6700? How much did you get the CPO 2 year extension for, and how much was the 3-pack PPM (it's not by years; it's by services, which varies by mileage and time)? Wanna see how prices are trending currently.

For reference, my C63S AMG Cabrio (albeit a few years ago) had an MSRP of $7K for the CPO 2 year extension, and I got it for under $3500 from Cassandra. PPM 3-Pack was $2300 from Jeff Jackson.

Last 3-pack PPM I got from Jeff Jackson approx 8 mo. ago for my S63 AMG Cabrio was $3290. So prices have gone up quite a bit. Dunno how the CPO extension cost is faring.

I will also note that MB Fort Mitchel did quote me $2800 for 3 year PPM but had a much higher cost for 2 year CPO.

Looking to buy my first MB. GLE 450. Early in the deal and the dealership quoted me $6,990 for "7-year 75k ELW. Felt a bit high when I saw it and this thread seems to confirm it. Am I missing something?

I've seen it on other MB websites for $3,995.

Welcome. Yes, that price is high. I recommend sifting through the last few pages of this thread and contacting other dealers to find a better rate.

I would also consider cross-shopping with @Highline-Autos.com . They are a broker for the Fidelity Platinum third-party extended warranty. I actually used my Fidelity coverage this past November to address a suspension issue at my dealership; the process was seamless, and the claim paid for the entire policy in one fell swoop.

I personally chose Fidelity because it allowed for more control over the specific terms:

• Premium: I opted for a $250 deductible, which brought my premium down by $1,500 compared to a $0 deductible.
• Mileage: I selected 70,000 miles since I do not drive much.
• Term Length: I went with 84 months, starting the policy one month before my original warranty expired.

Because of this, my 2020 GLE will be covered until 2031 (the four year original warranty ended in 2024, followed by seven years of Fidelity coverage).
