Best Discount for MB Extended Warranty

MBWorld Fanatic!
Call the dealer you purchased the warranty from and ask to speak to someone about cancelling an extended warranty. Most likely you'll speak to someone in the finance dept. (most dealerships have their finance dept handle extended warranties).
It may take 4 to 6 weeks before you get a check from the dealer for the cancelled warranty.

I just bought an extended warranty for my 2010 E550 coupe and save close to 1K from my local dealer from Erin. She was easy to work with and was able to answer all of my questions! Her contact info is Erin Mahre of MB Santa Rosa, direct:707-521-3996, tel:707-542-4811, erin@smotherseuropean.com
Thank you

Looking for recent contacts for Extended Warranty on a 2010 C63
Hi folks,
Just purchased a 2010 C63 26K miles. Non CPO. Looking for an extended warranty beyond the factory one. Checked out all the previous posts but looks like many of the contacts have moved on to other jobs etc.

Best offer I have now is from the place I bought it - Paradise Autos in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
Platinum plan - %yrs 100K w/$100 deductible for $4,845
Gold plan - %yrs 100K w/$100 deductible for 4,270
Silver plan - %yrs 100K w/$100 deductible for $3,033
Offered by SGI Services

Another vote for Erin Mahre, the Finance Manager of MB Santa Rosa, CA (707)521-3996. (You may have to call a few times in order to reach her in person).
I just bought the Factory ELW for my 2014 E350W from her.
She quoted 7/75K for $2090 & 7/100K for $2880 for cars less than 30 days from date of purchase. Once you pass the 30 days, there is a 15% surcharge by MB USA. My dealer quoted $3500 for 7/75K.
Everything was done through the phone and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. All you have to do is provide the last 7 digits of your VIN# and the current mileage.
Once everything is entered and verified, she will tell you the contract # and mail you 2 copies of the contract with her signature on them. She suggests to keep one in the car with your manuals and the other one at home with your car documents. There is nothing to mail back.
Erin is very pleasant to work with and she took her time to explain the details of the ELW. The ELW is 100% transferable and you can cancel and get a full refund before the 4/50K warranty expires.
There may be slightly better deals out there, but if you want a hassle free ELW at a reasonable price, Erin is the gal to call.

BTW, there is no sales tax on ETW.
Maybe it is CA specific but I would imagine it applies to all the states.
The price difference you mentioned is the 15% surcharge from MB USA.
I am glad you got a better deal for your car.

Best place to buy extended warranty
I just purchased extended warranty for my vehicle by calling Erin Mahre at Mercedes Benz of Santa Rosa, CA. You can buy warranty from any dealer in the country. I called a few dealers and no one came close to what Erin had to offer. She saved me close to 1K. She is very helpful and will walk you through all the details. Don't waste your time. Call her (http://www.mbofsantarosa.com/).

I just wanted to give a shout out to MB's Erin Mahre of Santa Rosa Ca. I heard of her through this forum and just purchased a 7/125k extended warranty on my 2014 GL350. Erin was a pleasure to deal with and spent a lot of time on the phone with me answering all my questions. The process was seamless and the price was significantly less than my NJ dealership offered.
I also purchased a prepaid service contract through Erin and, once again, the process was easy. I would highly recommend dealing with her if you are considering an extended warranty on your new Mercedes.
Currently, she works Saturday through Wednesday and has Thursday and Friday off. Her contact number is 1-707-521-3996. She usually picks up the phone immediately but if you leave a message she will call you back quickly.
Call her. You won't regret it.
Thanks Erin!!!

Payment Plans
Guys would they do Payment plan or finance Extended Warranty? Can I get the Pre-paid Maintenance from Erin. My dealer si charging me $999 for 3 years. I have C300 4matic 2010 with 40K miles on it.

An extended warranty is only good if it actually covers your behind. I'd like to hear people's experience with claims from extended warranties purchased through the recommended sellers on this thread.

Just got our GLK250 Bluetec and thinking about the extended warranty.
Checkbook magazine says that a particular salesperson at Euromotorcars in Bethesda, MD will sell them at $200 over cost. They have quoted me 7/75 (3 year extension) for $1905.
So I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten similar deals elsewhere. I see a CA rep. and a TX rep. mentioned. Do they offer the same deal (claimed to be $200 over their cost)? Maybe even a better deal? Do they indicate dealer cost?
And a second question: MD has no sales tax on services, and apparently the state of the dealership determines whether tax is paid. So that $1905 is free of tax. What about CA and TX?
Thanks in advance for any info you have.

MB 7/75 ELW For GLK250...
Michael,
Thanks for your post. I'm in the same boat you are regarding research on the MB ELW, having taken delivery on my GLK250 during the preceding two weeks.
During our discussion on the MB ELW the day we took delivery on our GLK250 I asked our salesman if the ELW price was negotiable. His response was a flat-out "NO." Accordingly, I was quoted the full MSRP price of $2299 for a 6/75 ELW if I purchase during the first 30 days of ownership. I didn't even consider the 7/75 ELW given the MSRP price of $2749.
I have always purchased an extended warranty from the dealer on my new vehicles (for resale value if nothing else) and have NEVER paid full MSRP. I can do much better than our MB dealer price on a Zero-Deductible extended warranty through my highly reputable insurance company. However, if I can find a discounted MB ELW for the right price I'll take that.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you find regarding the Checkbook Magazine Bethesda MB dealer discount on the MB 7/75 ELW. I'll gladly pay $20 to subscribe to the magazine for that kind of savings!
Best Regards,
Jim
