Hey guys....well, I've had my car for less than two weeks and of course, the mod bug has crept back and bit my butt...
No issues in that respect, but I ordered this carbon DTM style diffuser and carbon panel to find that it only fits 08-11 models as my 2012 has that rounded part at the top. (as they say, hindsight is always 20/20)![slap](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/slap.gif)
Therefore, seller was wiling to return it but I found out today that it would cost $400 to ship it back when I paid just a few hundred dollars more in total...
This item has not been mounted or installed in any way...once I took the old one off and just looked at what fitment would be like on the new one, the discrepancy hit me like a Mack truck.
I'm just trying to get this thing off my hands and reduce my losses. Installation from what I could tell would not require much effort at all. Otherwise, the pieces are beautiful - I wish I could put them on.
Please see attached photos that I based my initial purchase off of.
As I said, I am willing to take a significant loss - paid $540 + $130 shipping originally (check Ebay for other listing to confirm). Obviously, I would not be stupid enough to base my sale price on the shipping that I paid, just trying to recoup some of the money I paid for the parts...
Please make me an offer if interested.
And if anyone knows where to get a 2012 carbon diffuser I would be much appreciative as I have struck out on finding one thus far - (working on an exhaust though!!)![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks everyone for the interest! Really appreciate your quick responses as the wife is all over me on this one!
To be honest and transparent, I had an offer made to me overnight for $450 inclusive of shipping to CA...(which I am very eager to take once I get to the office and check shipping rates)
Anyone want to make me a bit higher of an offer?
If so, please PM me so that you guys don't raise the price unnecessarily on each other.
Thanks!

that being said, this is the sickest diffuser out there. im still waiting for things like this to come out for the 2012 model. pickings are very slim at the moment.
here is the revozport web site with a little bit better picks. just scroll about half way down the page

well, the stock diffuser is is just for looks in my opinion. the diffuser shown above is more functional than the stock one but unless you are going like 150 mph, i dont believe there is much benefit.

Obviously it didn't work out in the end, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it?

^^^ Thanks for the quick reply. If you don't mind me asking what's the name of the ebay seller and when you tried to install, did it seem damaged in any way?
Some pics of the actual diffuser in hand would help as well.

to be honest, I won't take pics unless it's utterly necessary as it is all wrapped up and in the box that I got it from ready for shipping back to seller - until I found out it would cost me $400 to send back.
That being said, the pictures that i used from his listing attached to the first post are exactly representative of the product that I have on my hands.
let me know!
