Congratulations !
Its a fairly simple car to work on.
Some parts could be pricy, but as long as you are savvy and patient... it will be fun and you will enjoy doing it.

Hi Kobzar,
I received new front door panels for models >2013 and I see there are slots for ambient light led bars.
Can you please share the part number of ambient lights?
Normally I look for codes on this site http://www.iauto.lt/mercedes-benz/Cross-country but I can't find them ... I will install ambient light only for front seats for the moment ..
How do you turn them on and off ?
Please confirm also if the code A4637602359 is right for the front left door handle >2013 I need to guest the new driver windows master switch code A1669054400 ? I will have to ask dolcar to reprogram it, right ?
Finally the codes also for the left and right extra Door Lock Switches
Any other suggestion for this upgrade is welcome

Hello
I also was not able to find a part number for the ambient lights, I don't know if they are sold separately. Therefore I purchased all my 2013+ door panes with the lights included.
I wired mine to come on with the ignition. I pulled power from the glove box power source.
This is the part number I came up for the interior left door handle: 4637600161 Please run in on Google and eBay to confirm. These door handles fit from 2002+. Some came with a little ambient light in them some did not.
Yes, thats a correct part number for the diver window switch.
I do not have a part number for the front door lock switches, mine came with doors. You might just need to search for them on Gogole or ebay. Mine will not have any functionality, they will just sit there.
Thank you
Good luck

Thanks Kobzar,
for door handle I didn't mean the door opener 4637600161 but the big handle where the new windows master switch code A1669054400 goes (on top of the seat adjuster switch)
Can you find a code on your if it's not already covered by leather wrap? Perhaps it's A4637602359 but I can't find any picture on internet to have a confirmation ...

Here's a picture of the driver side door grab handle. Looks like there is a part number but it's missing digit number four and five...

I wouldn't even worry about it. I actually have the protocol converter that works, ended up taking it out. Easy enough to just swap in the old cluster to get mileage data if necessary.
Let me know if you want more info about the protocol converter - it's out of eastern europe, but I found a US supplier. Took 3 days to get to me lol. No instructions or diagrams, but I figured the wiring myself.

It will need some sort of programming in order to have the odometer to show. I'm not sure if I'll have it start from zero miles or the mileage that came originally with the car or the mileage that's gonna be on an AMG 55 engine that I'm eventually going to install.
RPM, temperature, speed, information screen all work. I think the only things that need to be worked on is the odometer and possibly fuel gauge.

Passenger side door panel wrapped and test fit assembled. Seat switches are not completely installed and doorhandle will still need to be removed in order to be stitched up on the inside.
