Driver side window switch and window switch frame is from 2016 C-class
The other three switches are also from 2016 C-class but the switch frame I made myself ( by combining 2016 C-class frame and 2002 G-class frame)

I must say... After reading this entire thread over the course of a couple of days, I'm most impressed.
This is wonderful work...some of the best I've ever seen. Truly.
Thank you for sharing the journey.
I do have one question, if I may: I recently bought a 2004 G55 for the fellow I work for (collects certain cars) and he would like to put a G63 brush guard on it for the larger side hoops. I noticed you used a G63 bumper as well. Is that a prerequisite for installation of that style brush guard? They appear to be integrated together, so wondering if that style guard can be installed with a standard G55 bumper?
Thanks again, very much.

Thank you
If you want to install G63 OEM brush guard, you will need G63 front bumper and G63 front bumper reinforcement bar.

It went well )
Felt a little vibration on the first run, then realized exhaust was touching the heat shield.
Brakes need more bleeding.
Took it up to 45 - 50 mph, so far so good.

Thank you
i’m still waiting for the steering wheel and a few other parts. Exterior molding needs to go on and roof gutter trim.

Congratulations! She looks amazing. Did you have any faults when you got her going? I imagine that after taking everything apart and changing so many components that you'd have to have a dealer or someone with the star system make everything go together and play well.

Few faults like SRS, ABS and ESP. Once I get my steering wheel installed and the airbag hooked up I’ll take it to a shop to clear all the codes and see which once will come back. Then I’ll have dealer use STAR computer to take care of the rest.

It's great that you were able to drive it and that the computer didn't stop you. Congratulations again. I guess this shows that even the computerization of these cars shouldn't stop someone from restoring a good one. Cheers!
