Tonymeza55: I looked on my car and I do not see a 3 wire plug in that area that is coming out from the underneath the wire harness cover.
Kobzar thanks for doing the research on your end, after looking at some pictures from the power point manuals that Fourbyfourclub.com provides, I was able to identify that those cables would feed power/signal to the air pump supply for the multi-contour seats if the vehicle had been purchased with that option.
Vapor barrier type material, also acts as sound deadening material. First attempt at installing it, I can do better next time around ))
When you heat this product up it becomes stretchy so you can form it to the door structure and stretch it if needed, when it cools off it becomes rigid.
The opening will also be covered up with a piece of same product, so if I need to an any time, I can remove it and then place it back.

Per some requests from other forum members, here are pictures of the seat plugs that I re-wired. I used my original G500 seat computer and wire plugs and saldered them on to CLS63 seat wires. All seat controls on my G500 work perfectly with the new CLS63 seats.
I hope these pictures help "a little" anyone that wants to do similar swap. Basically you have to unwrap CLS63 seat wiring and track it back from the plugs to the seat motors.
FYI: the extra seat features on CLS seat do not work, just the seat motor controls.
question following this set up the seats will work no problem
kobzar thanks for the infomation brother. I have on more question for you. are you changing your cluster? if so are you using the c55 cluster?
is it possible to use that cluster?
Hello
No, C55 cluster will not fit G500 dash housing.
The glass on C55 cluster protrudes more out, G500 cluster is more shallow.
I think Ill end up buying a new G55 cluster.... thats what im leaning towards...
H/L gear indicator will not work on C55 cluster.
I do have a C55 cluster and I will try to swap out the housing (it will involve cutting them both and joining them together. If I fail in the housing swap, I will purchase a new one....
Yes, I plugged it in.
Seems like everything is working.
When you turn the ignition on, odometer shows XXXXXX milage, but then later it shows milage that was last recorded on the cluster.
Now I’m even more curious... I’m wondering, since you’ll have to have the Cluster cleared out and paired with your truck, I’m curious to see if the L/H will show in place of the W203’s S/C which is in the same spot. Once it’s paired to your VIN, model & ECU

Nice I just purchased one off of ebay will be installing it soon. ill keep you posted on how mines comes out. but again thanks for the information...
I did the C55 swap and it didn't work well. I didn't bother to swap it over to my G frame (and yes it is possible) because the fuel gauge didn't work.
I cannot remember where, but there was a lengthy discussion about face-lifting the C class in general (older clusters like ours, to the newer one we want), it shouldn't be too hard to find. The synopsis is that they utilize a different fuel level sensor than the previous models or it's wired differently. There are other mods required to make it read the fuel level. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a C55 cluster for $50 - why not? Anyways, I was able to get everything working, including mileage (I used the mercteil adapter for mileage and data), but the fuel gauge read empty.
I decided it wasn't worth actually rewiring the fuel level sensor, so I just purchased a standard 08 G cluster from MB and I'm as happy as I can be with it. I didn't want to put in an AMG. I have 2 G's one G55 and one G500 - so I'm not missing the "AMG" life lol. That being said, it would 100% work with an AMG cluster, new or used. In fact, preferably you would purchase a used one as the converter actually requires the cluster to be programmed to a (as in ANY, not your specific) vehicle prior to installation.
Its from W217 S-class coupe (similar to W205 but the airbag is leather)
Its not plug and play, I had to ship it out to Russia and they modified the electronics, the shaft opening, including adaptor that covers the gap between the steering wheel and steering column.

Is the Euro Wheel different from US Spec? We get the Silver Buttons instead of the Black that your steering wheel has.
I have a US spec wheel, I'm in Washington state.
I think the actual steering wheel is from W205 (with black buttons) and airbag is from W217 (leather wrapped)
