G550 Front Seat Tilts to 1 side when Moving Back
Call the dealer again, and a different tech tells me that the seat track is bent, and it will cost $2900 to replace the entire seat motor and frame. I said Fuch Off!!!

called back ttracked down the original tech who fixed it and he fixed it again, this time for free.

Has anyone here experienced this same problem, and HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM FOR GOOD?
Usually, there is something pushed under the seat that damages them when moving the seat, and it can bend the mountings for the motor or break the cables/drives.
If they were able to "reconnect" it, I'd suspect you have something bent. If the specific part isn't available separately, you may need to buy the entire seat frame to get it. I had to replace an entire seat frame on a brand new S65 for that reason, customer had a roll of duct tape under the seat and all other kinds of junk, something jammed in the mechanism and the seat would only go front-back about 3 inches. No serviceable parts, sells only as the entire frame, called the "seat adjustment mechanism".
At that point, if you have no warranty coverage, try to find an independent mechanic willing to open it up and repair/replace what he can to make it work properly.

While I don't doubt that you can replace the motor, it's entirely possible that MB does not sell it alone, as I have seen this on the 222/217 recently.

Thanks for the reccomendation. I had an extended warranty on my sprinter which was totaled, and I still havnt received my refund on the unused warranty. I bought another sprinter and the Service guy told me that if im in a accident that they can void the warranty. My current sprinter was in an accident and the AC doesnt work and since the sprinter was in an acciden they dont want to fix it.
So No! Im done with extended warranty's.
