Consensus on Replacement Tires for 2015 G63?
Hi There, it is almost time for me to replace the factory Yokohamas Advan S.T.s.
My research last year had me pretty much set on going with the Pirelli Scorpions Verdes. Has there been any change in the forum's opinion on what kind of tires to put on stock 20" wheels?
They are 275/50-20s.
I'm in the Texas Hill Country and drive mostly on roads, on my own property it's hayfields, cow pies, standard Texas shrubs and limestone and riverbeds, during the rain season I do have some pretty treacherous muddy areas.
Thanks for your input!

I just bought some Michelins from Costco (5/17/17) 275/50/20 they have a deal going on right now, and I got $130 off. $70 for buying 4 and $60 for being an executive member. So check them out. Total price installed and all with TPMS, nitro and disposal $1154.04. I had the Pirelli's previously and they are good tires.

Caskieatl how do you like the ride on the LTX? Notice any differences so far?
I have gone through two sets of Scorpion Verdes on my Cayenne so I kinda know what to expect, the Michelin LTX was what my local tire center was pushing.
BenDiem => I'm around 25k right now, I think I can get about 32 - 35k before they have to be changed out.

I got the car used, and the Pirellis were already on. I don't know how many miles they had on them, but they still have plenty of tread left. As for the LTX's they seem to be a bit more stable than the Pirellis, but that's perhaps because I went to 20 from 18, with the corresponding increase in width. Certainly less road noise.

Also, (and I'll post this elsewhere too) when I changed out my rims, I had to get new bolts. I got them here, on the recommendation of the MB service manager in my town.

There is a thread HERE: https://mbworld.org/forums/g55-amg-w...tires-g63.html
Kendrist posted a nice photo near the end of his M/T tires on stock wheels.

Did you go with 113W or 109H speed/weight limit? the latter ones cost significantly less and they were suggested for G55. I can't see myself going over 169mph and g55/g63 seem to weight the same.
