Hire UK Expert *an idea

Does anyone know of a w463 expert in the UK? I'm looking for an expert who I can work with (and pay) to help me source parts. I might also be willing to fly the tech down to Nicaragua to help me do a little work on the G270cdi 2002.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm asking about UK because the model was available there and they speak English. But other countries are fine. The person would just need to have access to finding these parts numbers, etc. and speaking English.

I'm generally looking for MB parts or OEM. It just depends on the part.

The problem I've had is that this model was not offered in the US and so US dealerships and specialists generally have not been able to help me with anything that touches the engine. Doors, Interior, that's all fine, but the mechanicals are slightly different in the 270cdi so I need someone who can access those part numbers- or ideally has experience with the model.

Do I know you? The Cuban comment seems like you are trying to draw me out.

Although I do not doubt your seriousness, I simply just do not understand why you can't go to any global MB dealer and get parts assistance for any vehicle they manufactured regardless of where the vehicle is physically located.

MB has a global parts database called EPC---I can define any part on any car regardless of physical location----and with an internet connection located anywhere all I need is time to come up with the correct definition --------cutting through all the HS, why can't you do that?

Dealers in the US don't offer any sort of help getting parts for European Spec MB's. The Computer System they use only Identifies US VIN Numbers, and you can only pull parts via that. If you HAVE a part number for a European Spec, then it is hit or miss if you can actually get it via a US Dealer.

I order most everything via my Friend in Dubai who is able to locate part numbers/pars/etc.. for me (SilberArrows). When I lived in Dubai, he took care of my W210 Wagon. He ships either from Dubai, or direct from Europe.

So far, I have received a EURO Rear Skid Plate for the 4x4, 6x6 Hutchinson Wheels are on their way from Europe, and he has helped with a few part numbers which I was able to order from MB Manhattan.

I've been to dealerships in FL and NJ and called them in GA and CA and there are many parts that they simply can't access from their terminals. I can't explain why MB made that decision, but them's the facts.

I do find some things on Russian sites but I don't have a good way to verify these providers.

Thanks, I will look at Dubai.

I was thinking of the UK because I had a great local mechanic when i lived there who specialized in rare cars like I had then.

I appreciate you weighing in.

I'm not an expert, just learning really. But I'm usually pretty good at web searches and I'd be very happy if you are on to a way to help me find parts.

VIN
WDB4633231X129849

Some parts I haven't been able to find:
Steering Pump
SBP Sensotronic Brake Pump

How did you find these? Is this something that I can do or do I need some special access? Why have US dealerships not been able to do this? Do you know?

Thank you for the help.
