Late to the party, but what is the offset on those TrailReady Beadlocks?
I am looking into the Black Rhino Armory wheel (17x8" +43 mm offset) and am wondering if I could clear a 315/70R17 with a standard 50 mm lift kit from Jack Wagon Overlanding (JWO springs with Koni Raid shocks) ...
Also, did you have any tire poke? Mine is a '99 G300TD and wondering if I need to modify flares to accommodate...

I can only speak to my G but hopefully it helps you out.

I have a 40mm spring spacer kit from JWO. With 285 70R18 tires (33.7" height) at full compression I have 1.5" or so of room at the top (I probably could have gone with 285 75R18 but that's another story). I also have 30mm wheel spacers.

I'm almost finished swapping out my stock flares with G63 ones and though I haven't tested full compression yet, the clearance *appears* to be roughly the same.

Hope that helps.

Thanks JD! It does as my 2nd pick tire size would be 285/75R18 or 295/70R18's.

I can’t comment on the OEM 18’s but I did aftermarket 17’s with 315/70/17 without spacers. Originally with Thor/fox (70/50) now with GFG HD springs/King 2.5 custom and 80mm without spacers
Still getting the grips on the forum, but was also hoping that AMG_55_cruiser would chime in since he got experience with the 315/70R17?
Would love to know the offset specs for his TR Beadlocks since he's running without wheel spacers.

Built 2008 G55 & one big 80 Series LandCruiser !
Morning -

Like where you're heading on your build Gargar !

I've played with a batch of rim/ tires combos to get to what I think will be a final set ( well, rims at least...)
you may need to consider jumping up to an 18" rim to get more oprions... even that for the 5x130 pattern is limited.
Like many I ran 31mm H & R wheels spacers but never liked the extra weight ( 14lbs !) and the variable of 2 sets of lugs to keep snug.

to maximize stance the 55/63 flares or a set of JWO's work perfecly - I wish there was a middle ground between them and the 4X4 flares...

I've run:
  • 20x10.5 et 25 Forgestars (on prior 63 with 40mm spring spacers) w/ 305/60/20 Toyo's
  • 18x9 Alpha Grenades w/ 325/65/18's and a set of 31mm Spring spacers - using full 4" lift - they cleared fully with no rubbing on the current G55
  • current - drilled blanks of 18x9 Black Rhino Atlas's with ET 0 w/ 315/70/18 Yoko 003 Muds.... they fit perfectly as well on full flex and wheel turn.
  • that said - I've got a set of 37/12.5's inbound to test fit....

305's are a safe balance point. and give a nice footprint and stance. Happy to share any other ideas or suggestions....

prelift on Imogene... bit of rubbing...

- Caster correction bushings
- ORC rear sway bar/Stabilizer

Good luck snd Hope you don’t catch the GWagen mod virus once you start project 😉

Thats how it all started for me

Dooooooood, the wheels and rack, sheesh! Info please, looking hott

Lots of hot builds here! I just finished installing my lift last weekend only to have my wheels show up this week(2" OME springs, Bilstein shocks w/external reservoir, 20x10" Variant Wheels. 35" KO3 tires) Will probably leave it alone for a bit but I think next I want to do the front bumper/winch. Anyone seen a complete bolt-on winch setup for the G63?

Nope! Thats the original paint. They called it Galactic Sunbeam Purple. Looks even better in direct sunlight. Depending on your angle it shifts between purple and red.

Neat color combo..... have never seen that Purple in a G.

for the bumper you're likely limited to ORC, Desert or maybe Jackwagon's new setup....... the issue are the IC's( and 5 other radiators !) then your parking Sensors and Distronic......

Its a 2015. Distronic is already acting up. Not sure if its because I haven't changed what tire size I'm using in the computer or if its the ride height. Yeah... I was hoping there was some solution to not having to move the coolers. So far I've only seen one bolt on winch example and it was from Ukraine so probably not getting that anytime soon.

We had some settings "adjusted" by Eurocharged when we did the E40 tune that made the distronic happier and the ABS system not kick in on turns with the larger od tires....( I ran 305's and 35's at various times on our G63)

Note sure if this will work as a bumper, But Jack can clarify... he's a great resource...
