Yeah, I was getting nervous that the Fed was increasing it's rates and the G Class didn't look like it would be released from the ports anytime soon. Luckily, it all worked out and I now have sub-$1600 loan payment at an interest rate that is lower the CD interest rates. There is no need to pay-off this loan early.

i hadn’t sat in the back seat before, but I was surprised by the reclined angle of the seat back. Behind my wife’s seat there is plenty of room, but behind my seat my knees touched the setback. It’s possible I haven’t adopted the G’s upright driving position, since my seat is almost fully back.
I don’t want to traumatize anyone, but our key fob is basically an E Class key fob (w/o the trunk release). I took a chance and ordered a key fob protector for an E Class and it fits perfectly.
