Nokian Rep said that above 45 degrees or so, the tires degrade much faster, must be rotated every 5000 miles miles maximum.
Supposed to be stellar in the white stuff, I’ll post an update when the snow flies.

Nokian R3s are a great choice. I almost went with those but instead have been running the Nokian WRG3's in the 275/55-20 size on my 2013 G63 as a winter set-up even though they are more of an all weather tire, since I had prior experience with them on my G500 and have been very happy with how they handle in the snow. I just felt that the R3's may be a bit of overkill for the amount of snow fall I typically get in my area and this way I don't have to be as concerned about putting them on too soon or leaving them on too long. But for a pure winter performance SUV tire, you can't go wrong with the R3's.
