Just saw the ED 1 at my dealer. It has a nice scuff with deep scratches on the driver rear door, will be interesting to see how they repair it. Probably from sitting at VPC so long.

LOVE the rear of both the '19 550 and 63. IMO, front end and brush guard look MUCH better on the 550. 63 Brush Guard is absurd & looks awful.
Also, so, so wish Mercedes would not have used Jeep Wrangler LED driving lights. They could have used round LED dots; yes it would be Bentley-ish, but better than looking like a Jeep!!

MBWorld Fanatic!
1. unless it's the middle of summer - protective-tape/wrap on any "magno" MB "must" lightly warmed with a heat gun for removal - any top MB dealer knows that - so that dealer in Philly with temperature in the teen's was Forrest Gump "stupid is what stupid does"
2. bull bar for G63 (including ED1) is "shortie" so that the front grill mounted nose camera can be used to give you Surround View. Fed's would not allow camera mounting attached to the G550 "taller" style Bull Bar guard (like two small cable holes for the camera will ruin structural integrity of the bull bar- Fed Jerks)
3. Mercedes has special Collision Center training and certification for Magno - so a Mercedes Certified Collision Center also needs that added training to have training to be 2nd Magno Certified as well. I mention this so Magno owners will know - if you get into a accident - and your MB is "non-operable" (which includes damage to front or rear lights) MB Roadside will give you free "tow" to Mercedes-Certifed & Mercedes-Magno collision center at no charge - if owners know what to ask for. . In my area - our MB Certified/Magno Certified Collision Center gets Roadside Assist tow in's from as far as 5-states away.
4. A "scuffed" G63 would not make it onto the carrier at Port - the carrier does a intense inspection and will not load any G-Wagen with damage. That means any scuff will be either "transport damage" by the carrier noted by the dealer on check in - or "lot damage" caused by dealer mishandling after checkin or during PDI/prep.

Former Vendor of MBWorld
yea i sold all our launch GTR's and E63 ed1's for msrp..no markups.. unfortunately, one of our other stores just sold theirs for $250k a few days back and another local store to us did also so our GM won't do less than that at the moment...sorry guys..
I honestly dont believe in over msrp, but I have no control on the G wagons... I did sell a couple 19's for msrp that im taking flak more now (forum members).. other than G wagons and maybe a GTR pro/Black series.. I'll always do MSRP or way less. If I can do less I will post it up..sorry for the trouble
