Probably not plummet, but a continued pull back. Gwagons, even earlier models are very popular and have limited production. Those two things together point to them holding their values relative to other vehicles.

Not just me, G63 price gouger, look at your thread where you are trying to sell a base G63 way over MSRP for $200K. Look at the other member's responses then tell me if I'm the one ruining your thread.........

This forum is for us who are passionate about MB, and the G class in particular. I’ve gotten alot of help here before and the guys on here know when someone’s trying to pull a fast one. I’d move along, you aren’t gonna get any sympathy from us for taking over our forum trying to rip one of us off. Next thing you know he’ll be trying to sell us the top secret exclusive G900 supercharged hybrid edition or whatever juanjose kept posting awhile back. Juanjose hasn’t been around in awhile...now there’s a guy who was NUTS!! He had all the insider info

I called around to 10 dealerships about putting in a G63 order. Heard everything from 6 months to “we have a waitlist with 5 people on it, we’ll call you when you come up” to “2019s have ended production and no word on 2020s starting, we’re not taking orders right now.” Also finding it kind of difficult to get sales people to follow through on putting an order in. Are they not motivated for some reason? I assume there’s money to be made on it, though delayed.

To everyone with estimated late 2019 early 2020 for your orders will the model year be a 2020?
I have been hunting for a used g63 but the longer it takes to find one the more I'm tempted to put in a order for a 550

"I called around to 10 dealerships about putting in a G63 order" - I might suggest you go into your closest MB dealer with a $5,000 deposit check and get this done... you're Portland ? - I would say May- June next year.

No, I’m in Florida - username is a vestige of living in Portland previously. My closest dealership indeed asked for a $5k deposit and gave an “up to a year” timeframe. I put in the order with another dealership 90 minutes away that said 6 months, no deposit.

Yeah, I don’t know, unless they’re leading me on. I told him I’m hearing around a year everywhere and he said “no we’re around 6 months.” Guess we’ll see. He put in the build yesterday and is waiting for confirmation, so maybe I’ll hear bad news.
