Headlights swap
I hope the LEDS last I remember 3 years ago on my at the time new 2016 Highlander they released these cool LED style taillights and within a few months they were destroyed by LEDs that burnt out.

Funny how the headlights from china came in 2 days literally but all the parts from the USA taking 10 days+
Below each headlight surround are 2 phillips screws - unscrew
Lift up on the headlight surround but don't fully remove
Behind the surround are the washer hoses for the headlight washers
Using a phillips screw driver loosen the clamps and wiggle the hoses off the washer nipple
Remove the headlight surround
3 phillips screws hold on the headlight to the body - remove all 3 screws
The headlight assembly can now be removed.

They asked me 4 times my model and the box has the right model labeled but the wrong lights
it’s probably going to cost a arm and leg to ship this **** back to Taiwan 🤥🤥
They work great however when the engine turns on the white rings shut off. They only come if I switch the parking mode lights on by setting the headlight switch in the position.
Everything else works
Out of all these installs the front turn signal were the most frustrating. I have seen so many of these LED style on the G wagons but installing them is a total pain. You need to really bend, modify and hack job them to fit proper. If anyone is considering LED turn signals for the front I would avoid the 6 LED housing replacements. You are much better off with a CANBUS LED bulb and smoked housings and your total cost will be less than $50.

1) on the new headlights I have, the plug for the halos are where the little city bulb goes on the OEM (the plug at 6 o’clock ). My city bulb never seem to come on with the headlights...so are folks hooking up the new halos with the existing halo drl? Or using the same city bulb harness... I checked with a volt meter and only get 5 volts coming out of that harness
2) while trying the swap out the existing xenon parts from the old headlight into the new, how does one disconnect the self leveling wires ( 3 wires) that seem to go into a cylinder where I cannot see any harness to unplug....while on the new headlight, it looks like there is a three wire harness for the self leveling function...
thx in advance,Will

first pic is the socket that runs the led halo... where if I connect the same attachment from my light it doesn’t work ( only get 5v coming out of the factory harness )
the next 2 pics are what I believe to be the self leveling thing, and it’s connector.... but on my oem headlight the three wires run inside that cylinder and it’s not a plug like in the picture!
