I would love to wire them to the turn signals anyone do that yet
Honestly, super easy to do. Single wire that goes to the "hot" wire on your turn signals. Just splice it in.

do these do the rotary sequential dance on startup like the video in the ad? Does turn signal also do a rotary flash or does the whole ring flash?

Depends on what you do honestly. If you're just going to put them in by themselves, not long at all. I added HID's so way longer just to get everything mounted up and looking nice behind the wheel well.

No, brush guard can stay on. Doesn't need to come off. Pretty easy to do actually. Listed out the steps below:

Below each headlight surround are 2 phillips screws - unscrew
Lift up on the headlight surround but don't fully remove
Behind the surround are the washer hoses for the headlight washers
Using a phillips screw driver loosen the clamps and wiggle the hoses off the washer nipple
Remove the headlight surround
3 phillips screws hold on the headlight to the body - remove all 3 screws
The headlight assembly can now be removed.

Super disappointed they don’t fit. The lens projector from my old headlight doesn’t line up with the headlight they sent me.

Smh

Looks like my projector is bigger and the holes for it don’t line up with the new housing. So I guess they sent the older G lights.

They asked me 4 times my model and the box has the right model labeled but the wrong lights

it’s probably going to cost a arm and leg to ship this **** back to Taiwan 🤥🤥

Well managed to get them installed. Tapped into turn signal to make them work as turn signals.

They work great however when the engine turns on the white rings shut off. They only come if I switch the parking mode lights on by setting the headlight switch in the position.

Everything else works

They ended up fitting with trial and error I ended up taking it to my friends shop. They did the front turn signals, the grill, brush guard and something else all at once. It took a few hours for sure.

Out of all these installs the front turn signal were the most frustrating. I have seen so many of these LED style on the G wagons but installing them is a total pain. You need to really bend, modify and hack job them to fit proper. If anyone is considering LED turn signals for the front I would avoid the 6 LED housing replacements. You are much better off with a CANBUS LED bulb and smoked housings and your total cost will be less than $50.

That's what I did on mine. Prefer the look too honestly. Looks factoryish.

Hi - I’m trying to put these same halo headlights into my 2017 G63 and has a couple questions for folks who did the install themselves.

1) on the new headlights I have, the plug for the halos are where the little city bulb goes on the OEM (the plug at 6 o’clock ). My city bulb never seem to come on with the headlights...so are folks hooking up the new halos with the existing halo drl? Or using the same city bulb harness... I checked with a volt meter and only get 5 volts coming out of that harness

2) while trying the swap out the existing xenon parts from the old headlight into the new, how does one disconnect the self leveling wires ( 3 wires) that seem to go into a cylinder where I cannot see any harness to unplug....while on the new headlight, it looks like there is a three wire harness for the self leveling function...

thx in advance,Will

here are some pics from the new headlight to give folks context of what I’m asking!! I’m pretty familiar with this all as I had converted an older g550 to a g63 bumper ... and now recently have come back with a 2017 G63!!

first pic is the socket that runs the led halo... where if I connect the same attachment from my light it doesn’t work ( only get 5v coming out of the factory harness )

the next 2 pics are what I believe to be the self leveling thing, and it’s connector.... but on my oem headlight the three wires run inside that cylinder and it’s not a plug like in the picture!

are these alibaba lights LED headlights (including LEd bulbs and projectors), or just the assembly with Halo that you use with the pre-excisting HID projectors (which in my case won;t work since i have a halogen setup on my 2005 G55) ?

The one I have is a complete swap. No use of the old parts.
