Did you switch out your fog lights for LED? What about the parking light and the backup light? Did you switch either of those out for LED?

Right on. I'm going to order the bumper. I already have the grill and headlight covers on the car. I've dealt with replicas before and have had some pretty horrible experiences back in the day. I have a G55 so I'm just going to trim the front flares. No point in buying new ones and having them painted.

Also, why did your kit come with these pieces? I see come with it and some don't. Why are those needed?

Yup. Everything was switched out for LED. Bought new tail lights (that did require resistors) and new parking lights (that also required resistors).

Sure did. You'll need new ones to fit the new bumper and headlight surrounds.

Hmmm. That's weird. Some kits come with it and some don't. The vendor I'm talking with is saying I don't need them.

So you switched out the bulbs for the fog lights and the turn signal lights to LED, but you actually had to buy new parking lights for the individual white and individual red lights on the bumper?

Not sure how you wouldn't need one. The headlight bezels are bigger with the LED's below the headlight. The bottom of that surround needs to line up with that piece. If you use the stock one it just wouldn't fit due to size.

Yeah parking lights were totally replaced with the full unit - not just the bulbs. Same with the tail lights - totally new units. I didn't keep the fog lights but rather wired in the Brabus LED's in leu of the fogs.

I actually already have my headlight bezels with LEDS installed on my G55 now. Maybe that part is different on G55/G500? Unless my bezels were designed to be used with the stock piece?

Ah, that's definitely the difference. Mine didn't have LED's so I was adding them. I would doubt you'd need them then.

No, I meant that I already installed new bezels with LED's in them last weekend. Sorry! My stock ones didn't have LEDS. 2003 G55. Can't see the LED's for the stupid brush Guard. I went with the 4x4 squared grill.

Where did you get the 55 flares from? Do they fit with the non AMG bumper?

Nice build! What did you go with for the HIDs to match the DRLs or would you recommend going with LED instead? I was thinking to get the 35w HID 6000K for extra brightness on the road at night.
