In the 2020 G Ordering Guide there are several colors that are shown as Limited Availability, such as 051 designo Platinum Magna: what exactly does that mean? Does it mean that only certain allocation windows can get that color? I think one would look good with my interior specs and I have asked a couple dealers and no one has given me an answer yet, which seems baffling.

I ordered Designo Platinum Magno and I asked the dealer the same question. He didn't think there were any constraints on colors. He mentioned he will update me if the rep says otherwise (ie:rep can let dealer know that a certain option such a color is going to add time to build). If I hear anything further, I'll let you know!

Ok, so my build is planned for March 30th so if they have already painted the quota for that month will my build move to April? Or even later?

If your build was successfully submitted you are good. The limitations are applied and fulfilled at the allocation stage.

Hmmm, I have it spec'd with Selenite Gray now and am thinking of changing it to Platinum.

Ask your dealer to make the change. If Platinum slots are entirely filled up then the system will reject it immediately.

Yeah, that is probably the easiest way to do it, but now I just need to decide if I really want it. I took some time reading about the pros & cons and I am still not sure I want to take the chance.
