I received a call from the dealer the other day and jumped out of my seat that it arrived so quick.. Now the kicker - PO #s match but the build is 100% wrong, My original build is the 135k build. No clue how or why it happened. I have two options send a new build in or buy this one.

I would take their build if you can afford the additional amount. It's a very nice build!

some of that price jump is also due to the price hike. not just the difference in options... so the real price difference between your spec and this one isnt as large.

I agree it’s a nice build - if you can afford it.

I would tell them you will take it if they offer you an additional discount for the mix-up.

And to be honest, they really should given it wasn't your fault. Any respectful dealer would do that instead of making
you wait for another build.

I would take their build but ask for a discount. If the dealer has any integrity then they will agree. Of course, greed may get the better of them since they can probably sell your slot to someone else for full MSRP without too much difficulty. Best of luck.

So? I spec'd my G550 to $155k and I have had no thoughts about getting the G63. I could not spec a G63 that looked better to me (and my wife who will be the primary driver) than the G550 I have on order.

Thanks everyone- I asked for a discount and they laughed. "we'll just release it to the sales team". Agreed, a nice build but the diamond stitching is not for me. I'm going to wait and resubmit a new build.

You had to ask, not surprised since money is their primary objective. I felt the same way about the diamond pattern and that was a big reason for ordering the G550. On the bright side you can revisit your build and if you need the 2020 G Class Order Guide drop me a PM with your email address and I will send it to you.

I just looked at the dealer website and saw my G they said arrived. The vins match but they totally messed up, the seat color is wrong from what it I ordered. Ordered black and it's a creme color instead.

How did they **** that up. Polar white with the MACCHIATO BEIGE interior.........god thats horrible. Even if they gave you a 5k price drop I still wouldn't have bought that.

Ya, white and beige don't exactly work that well together. Alone they are both very nice but the inside will look dirty
against the clean white exterior.

On a note about the diamond stitching, definitely a personal preference as I would not have ordered my G without
it. The rest of the interior options remind me of my old C63. The diamond stitching makes the interior look alot
more luxurious vs a more 'sport' look without. But with all the choices available for the G, there is a combination
for everyone's personal tastes.

Same to be honest. I read and responded and said it was a thumbs up from me. I didn’t realise it was white with the beige interior, I thought it was black inside.

That’s not for me all all ... the seats I imagine will look dirty when the doors are open.

Everybody has their own taste and as previously stated there’s a G combination for everyone.

Let's all email them and say we'll take it for $10k less because of the color combo isn't our 1st choice

I love the beige interior, and ordered my car with it.... but it's black, so will have the necessary contrast. Interestingly a load of the press cars were white with beige interior, so someone at MBUSA thinks this is a good option....

At this price point - get what you want. However, if these clowns actually laughed at you - take that business elsewhere.

That press car was nice for some reason though. Maybe it was the way they staged it
