Random question but for the spare tire that comes with 2019+ G63, does the 5th spare tire rim always match the other 4 or do you just get a standard rim regardless of what you option?
I ask because it seems that in G63 videos with 22's on the vehicle, it looks like the spare rim is the 20" 10-spoke from looking at it through the rear window, but nobody ever takes the cover off.
That is what the seller of the G63 22" wheels told me when I asked - he got the same spare as I have on my 2020 G550, the all Black AMG Multi-spokes (RJ5).

Is it correct to assume the total diameter of the 20 inch rim plus tire is roughly the same as a 22 inch rim plus tire? Guess it has to be as it’s considered a full size spare.
I’m guessing the 22 is too wide to fit in the spare tire cover?

The 22s are about 1/2" taller. And that may be why since the spare tire cover is only so wide!
On my 2019 G63, I got the exact same 22" silver/grey wheel but on my 2020 G550 with AMG package I got a 20" wheel but its different style than the AMG wheel that comes with the night package.
