Does anyone else have ripples on their 2019-21 G class? See photos. It looks like ripples caused by bolts or screws or something, but looks awful. Car has 2500 miles.
Not sure why you're afraid of the dealer. If it's a legitimate claim it will be taken care of. However if you don't take it in, you will never know.
Last time they fixed the creaking in my seats, it got way worse. Now every time I make a turn, the driver's seat makes a "tick-tick-tick" noise - going to try and find a new dealer to fix it and I guess I'll ask about the running boards too. Third time it would have to go in for seat noise.
Just stopped for gas and noticed another 2019 or 2020 G63 that had ripples, but on the side of the running board, not on the top.

My 2020 G63 doesn't have any ripples. I had the issue with my seat as well. They tried adjusting the lumbar air lines several times without any success. Eventually I brought it in and told them the seat back needed to be replaced because the fitting was loose. They ordered a new one under warranty and it eliminated the noise.
You should not have ripples in your running boards and seats should not rattle! I’ve had my G for a year now and fortunately had none of these issues. A few of my friends have G’s and they don’t have ripples.

The metal itself in the middle of the running boards between the rubber strips has dents - it looks like bolts are pushing up from underneath the metal - in the second photo I posted, it's visible to the left of the exhaust tips (the reflection of the car is not a straight line)

That is not proper...mine are perfect so there are issues that the warranty will cover for sure.
