Hello everyone. Anyone know if it’s possible to modify the OEM mud flaps to work on US spec G63’s? Because we have that metal cage protecting the fuel tank the standard ones can’t fit and dealer said it won’t work. Trying to help prevent what happens in this photo after 1 drive through dirty streets. Thanks

Sorry, I am no help to question, but happy to learn that the gas tank is protected. Not trying to hijack, but is most of the underside protected? Transfer case? Tranny? Etc...?

That’s why I posted the photo. This is after 1 drive after some sand on the roads. Hoping the flaps will help to prevent this. This I’m not 100% sure on but I’m sure someone will chime in.
So do mud flaps actually prevent the build up on the flat part of the rear bumper? Mine gets dirty so fast, thought it was just normal for the G. would really like to know as well.
you can barely see the flaps from most angles. i bent down to show from the rear. they arent that noticeable and dirty bumper is fine but a scratched bumper from gravel etc... not so fine... that would suck
