JackWagonOverlanding has tail lights that look very similar to the iJDMTOY ones for a higher price. If being in stock is an issue you can check with him if he has them in stock.
For head lights, you have plenty of options. I went with black housing JW Speaker 8700 Evo J2's because that was what was available at the time. You may have more options now though, with some 2019+ Style lights and other better known brands.
I did my taillights and fog lights to match the LED halo - ordered both from Amazon - easy install and all four work flawlessly. I am not changing my headlights - they are fine as is. But Amazon has a ton of smoked rear led lights.
Headlight get these and thank me later. Plug/play and bright. The DRL works with no extra wiring. The DRL can be wired with the yellow wire on unit to the fender turn signal and then will be switchback to amber dynamic turn signal but not required.

Really gives it that 2019 facelift.
I was actually chasing the blacked out bi xenon ones. But ill definitely be considering these, due to the latest look.

remove grill it’s just a few push rivets
remove headlight surround just 2 screws each
disconnect headlight washers if you need
unbolt 3 bolts on headlight
Disconnect
Plug in new ones
wire up turn signal if desired
adj the aim on them
reverse the rest

That's not too bad.
How is the light output vs. the stock HID's? Mine are...unimpressive to say the least (does light output diminish with bulb age?) so something brighter would be welcome.

Much better than stock even with top of the line Osram CBB bulbs that are the closest to the output of the new LEDs. These are as good as any factory LED and I have been really happy with them.
Only HID setup that can rival these would be a better projector and lens properly spaced. On our LR3 I did a clear lens swap and used the Osram CBB bulbs and they were great. I am about to redo my lights on my E55 with new drop in Morimoto projectors and the Osram CBB bulbs. I wish there was a good LED option but it will be close.
here is are pics of the LR3 with new bulb and lens vs the stock setup on it. It rivals the new LEDs. So unless you find away to do that to the stock headlights go with these LEDs for your G.

I ended up buying blacked out housings from Howell Elec.
Basically ive stripped out the plugs etc except for the last one which is basically unreachable.
Has anyone else been through this before?
Heads up for anyone going the housing route....be prepared to do quite a few cuts of the oem and aftermarket housing.
Gave in and decided to cut into my oem housing with a small cutting disc. Also had to cut a slot out for one of the plugs connected to the projector (i think thats what its called).
Image 1 is where i had to cut to disconnect one of the plugs.
Image 2 is the OEM housing with a slot.
image 3 is aftermarket housing without a slot. You will have to slot it.
Image 4 is the plug that you are cutting the slot out for.
Hopefully this helps anyone else that ends up with the same problem as me. Ebay seller didnt mention anything about it.
In any case, here is a left OEM, right side AFTERMARKET black housing.
If you did all of that I would have simply opened up the stock ones and painted the chrome piece inside. Lots more work and the light output is likely not on par with the LED set I posted and have.
but to each his own. I am about to do major headlight surgery on my E55 this week. Opening up brand new lights. Replace the projector with a better drop in Morimoto set. Swap out the inner chrome pieces to the facelift style. New Osram CBB bulbs.
Should the lm perform and look much like my LEDs in the G55.

Haha yeah youre not wrong. The reason i didnt upgrade to the led ones is that im trying to keep the stock "look".
Light output is about the same if not better, but that wasn't an issue for me.
Not sure how I feel about the headlights. I have the same one 06 posted but HID not led with the same mango black exterior as you, it really makes them pop.
I’ve seen the oem old style blacked out for some reason it makes it look dated.
