Ordering G class in Switzerland, ETA November 2022….

i asked the dealership if it will be a 2023 model … if so … will it have the MBUX infotainment…(like every less expensive Mercedes’ !)

He showed me an email from MB Switzerland product management saying that G class will be produced without MBUX until May 2024.

is this for real ??

Saw many articles announcing 2023 model with MBUX and facelift … anyone has official confirmation ?

All those articles are speculation. Take them with a grain of salt until it comes from Mercedes.

I bet the EQG will come with at least MBUX, which is due out in 2024.

Could be a possibility considering MBOS is 2024.
I wonder if they would really want to put in MBUX when MBOS is around the corner.

I used to care about MBUX but honestly I just hope my allocation gets the current V8 set up. Everything else is secondary to me now.

We are half way through 2022 and MB still hasn't officially announced anything about MY23 for the US market? I thought it was just a minor facelift? Hmm....

If a new Mbux or whatever is in the 2024 then I'd trade my 2021 in for it.

I suspect that by 2024, the car will be a mild hybrid (likely still V8 but V6 is always possible). So a gas engine with mild electric assist. If you want a true ICE G, not sure you want wait for 2024. I think the full electronic G that will be available (likely along side the mild hybrid version), will be very cool. I need to get my name on a list for that.
