2022 vs 2023 G63
I'm shopping for a lightly used G63 and curious what the major differences, if any, there are between the 2022 and 2023 model years. I tried to search online but didn't find anything credible. It pains me to pay over retail, but I'd like to pick one up before the end of the year, hoping to find a decent deal on a 2023, but i'd consider 2022. From what I found the exterior lights might have been refreshed in 2023, larger interior main screen, but that's about it? TIA

Well **** then, I'll just look for a 2022 then. I thought I read that the interior screen size was upgraded and UI was also updated in 2023. Same for some minor exterior lighting upgrades in 2023.

In the US the 2023 lost auto start/stop. MSRP's were identical. A few minor color changes.

I actually prefer having the stop start button, just don’t like the idea of having empty slots on a 200k car. I’d rather just code it to stay off and use it if I need it

That empty slot doesn’t bother me. The ones on the left kinda do though lol.
I have never seen four cylinder mode so can’t speak to that.

I have disabled auto start/stop, but it still works if the button is activated. My dealer did it.

2023 EQE 500 SUV electric and 2024 Jaguar F-PACE SVR 5.0L
For the price of the G63 I could own a faster Jaguar F-Pace SVR SUV and a better off roader Jeep Wrangler 392. Hmm, you know, I think I'll do that!

Sounds good--check back with us in 1-2 years and let us know how much your Wrangler and F-Pace are worth?

Since the Jag is a JLR/Tata product, kinda tough to be faster than anything when its broken most of the time. Also Im aware this will sound incredibly douchey: but the Bronco/Wrangler are the alternatives when you cant afford the Defender/G.

A Tesla Model S is faster than: a Ferrari F40, Mclaren F1 and a AMG CLK GTR. By your logic, you'd take the smart toaster on wheels over 3 of the most collectable cars on the planet lol.

Not at all comparable to the G, and you’re right about the dismal reliability of LR. Also add theft - our neighborhood has had several stolen this year. It’s very easy to spoof the key, apparently.

Thanks for chiming in! I've loved the G63 since I was a kid and take delivery of mine next week. Super stoked. Funny you mention LR and theft. A friend mentioned to me that LR is the most stolen brand in the UK, which is wild. Didn't know it was that bad.

My G has been outside for over 4 years and have never had any vandalism or theft issues. It's honestly the best car available, even for purely on road use. I have ordered an EQ G and will keep the G550.
Enjoy it!!

I'm in Toronto in a good neighbourhood (most are good in TO!) and 3-4 have been stolen this year.
