Interior Color Dilemma! Please help! White vs Black vs Beige

Hey, i have to make final decision. I can’t choose LOL. I’ve decided to order MY22 g63 obsidian black with almost everything.

1) Black was my first choice, i believed, black exterior is perfect with interior. Pure g63 gene. Red seat belts and carbon fiber addons. Moreover, i have kids and any dirt is less visible on black.

2) then i watched YT and some pics from instagram and there is a lot of beige and red( not mine type), beige is classy and comfy, warm Color for interior. But one thing make me nervous, must-take Brown steering wheel and upper part of Dashboard, Brown is not my Color, but beige looks nice and it is only color( as well as 1) black black version) which is on almost all components in interior, it just Looks consistent.
Its also most dirt-visible.

3) then i made my own interior, platinum white leather with leather Dashboard and central tunel. Looks very fresh, bright, but not so all-components of interior are same, not so consistent like in beige, divided colors, but for me nice looking. But isnt it a little bit odd? I mean, does it fit and not look strange? Its also dirt-visible but not so much as all-beige.
Man im stuck :-)))

second thing: heated steering wheel vs amg buttons on steering wheel? I can only choose one option.

REGARDS!

The white interior with red belts looks fantastic. However, it maybe difficult to keep white clean? Black interior with red belts would be the safe choice in my opinion. Good luck.

Agree platinum interior looks great in pictures but I bet would be a nightmare in real life to manage. I'd go black with red belts--maybe if you are brave enough, get black with red inserts where the diamond quilted part is?

I have the Platinum white/black interior including the 2 tone white/black steering wheel on my G550.

I was nervous about it at first, but 4 months in and wearing jeans everyday I have had zero issues so far with any sort of dye transfer or staining.

I’m not a fan of beige leather in cars, seems dated to me. Black is nice as long as you don’t consider it boring, but I live in Florida so I was not interested in that since my last car had black leather seats and used to make me sweat after parking the car outside on a sunny day (ie every day lol)

Have solid platinum white in black magno since August. Can't imagine going with any other color. Concern with maintenance is entirely dependent upon your personal circumstances.. i.e. Children, pets. I have neither so my vehicle interior is as it was when i took delivery. Apparently this is a somewhat unique color selection when opting for a black exterior which makes it all the more appealing to me. Conversely, if my children were young or if I were transporting a dog, this would not be a good choice.

I often wonder how people able to afford expensive vehicles can't decide about trivial options and colors. Are you sure you'll be happier with my choices than your own?

Hey Guys, Option Beige is dismissed, i feel it a little bit outdated.

I won't be happier by your choice, but i hope, it makes my life easier

So i go into 1) or 3)...

I love 3) white seats with white dashboard, but im a little scared by dirt on this, and crumpling of leather. However, leather could be fixed by upholsterer after 2-3 years. Black one seems safe to me, but i'm afraid of being bored of black interior after time, im going to have this car 5-10 years. I live in Poland where a lot of cars are black interior, and here we have 3-4 full sunny months, and then there's everyday spring or autumn. I have to decide until end of year. Production is on July 2022.
Wife hardly opting for white, im wondering ..
Have a beautiful day!

I'd go with option 1. It's the best option for the black exterior IMO. The white would have me too worried about looking dirty after several years, and I'd be too concerned about every little thing that could get it dirty.

If you're holding for 5-10 years, I think you almost have to go with black. White wouldn't hold up that long.

Don’t do White…you’ll regret it later as the seat gets all dirty, even if you’re careful mate.

I have platinum white, go with the black.

What’s impossible to keep clean is actually the stitching. The leather is easy to wipe clean w a griots wipe, but the stitching gets stained.

I’ve found w the height of the g wagon people also tend to slide across the seats to get in and out. The white loves to take the dye off peoples jeans. I wear plain old Levi’s and I have to wipe the seats once every few weeks.

Guys, thanks for sharing so much knowledge. After this thread i'll go into black interior black exterior. (Still wondering black obsidian vs magno mate black ). Maintaing and longevity of leather influenced the decision mostly. Moreover, we have small kids (2-3 years) and dog, so it would be easier to carry anything, including all family!

Many thanks to all of you!

Since you're soliciting the counsel of others on the topic of your G, here's my final 2 cents - NO KIDS!!! NO DOGS!!! (However, I'm sure they are deserving of the finest minivan you can lay your hands on. Trust me - they won't know the difference and will treat either vehicle with equal disregard.)

I've never owned a matte car so not an expert, but I imagine maintaining a magno paint for 5-10 years would not be fun.

In that case I'd go obsidian black and use the magno paint money towards getting a stealth PPF - then you get the magno look and paint protection all at once.

You made my Day lol ! I'm pretty sure, there's no any child that respect our property appropriately. Conclusion is black interior is easiest and safest way to be a little reassured.Contemplating about color is like a whim, im pretty sure im going into black obsidian. But Hotdog you are absolutely right about PPF.

I used to own a matte magno amg gtr. I loved just looking at it. But I had to wash it nearly daily. Foam washing is fast but annoying. I now have a white g63 and love it. I’d go obsidian for the G over matte if you want black
