All that BS and hype for only what, 3 months of downtime? I'm sure MSRP will increase a bit. When does the model year switchover usually happen on the G's

The heated steering wheel is not compatible with the buttons. You need to choose one or the other.

You either get the agility control buttons, or heated steering.
If you want both, you need to purchase a heated steering wheel, install agility control buttons, then do coding on your car.

The drive mode wheel on the lower right is removed if you option the heated steering wheel. This was the same back in 2019 as well. I'd opt for the heated steering wheel over that drive mode wheel.

Thanks for the quick replies. Now I understand the trade-off. Going to opt for the heated wheel -- personal choice.

Next question, what about the DD5 vs. DB3? A bit more leather for $800?

On the G manufaktur one you get that printed on the passenger grab handle which looks more exclusive. Plus it’s diamond stitch pattern on the leather.

I guess it's personal preference but I think the printing on the grab handle is dumb, specially if you opted for the carbon fibre interior trim because it removes the carbon from the grab handle and replaces it with wood or plastic or whatever the trim is. So you pay more for less carbon...makes no sense.

oh I didn’t know that. I have the metal weave so it didn’t change anything on mine. Good to know as I’m going to spec Carbon on the new one.
Is it possible to get that trim piece in carbon fiber from MBUSA parts catalog?

I went back and fourth as well on what to pick before I got mine. I did the control wheels. If it's that cold and u want warm hands, slip some gloves on. But losing those control wheels gives up some nice features and they are backlit so look cool in the dark. (: No right answer here. I do like how u can control the dial for a mode u want to be in and other functions off or on like exhaust. One quick turn and its all tailored to your driving demand on the spot

Yes - I replaced the one with lettering with a solid Zen Wood one, for less than $100; however, CF may be more.

Yea all personal I went with the heated wheel because I didn’t like the gauges on the sides I felt the heated wheel without the gauges gave a cleaner look but are great imo tho.

I went with carbon fiber firm but the the
g manufaktur didn’t know till today that there was a grab handle with carbon and without depending on the seating package. I rather have the diamond leather than the carbon grab handle. But again all personal pref

No but have to imagine they look just like the ones on the GT and the GLS63. I'm either going trail package or monoblock with my next build.

Thanks for posting. Not a fan personally.
I’ll be sticking with the matte black 22” Forged Cross Spoke with night package plus.

They kind of look like the EQG wheels.

THANK YOU for the order guide! I walked into my salesman's office today (2/10/22) and when he saw it in my hand he had a nicer disposition. He knew I had information and he couldn't just tell me anything! He confirmed that the order bank was open. Orders would be lined up as placed. He confirmed that no build dates have started. He did not say that builds would start in May (I read that on another post). I had to update my build because some of the things I wanted was no longer offered (as noted on the order guide). I signed the changes and found out I am now Number 5 on the list!! He would not discuss price with me. He said he didn't have any prices.
