I just installed it tonight and damn it's so easy to do.
John's picture from the original dashcam thread will help you a lot:
Harness picture
You pop off the central piece and then work around the edges of the larger shroud and it should easily pop off without much force. The biggest pain in the rear is the central piece is tied into the larger piece with the plastic anchors (see John's thread again) which you have to free one side by pinching in those barbs in order to get around the rear view mirror.
After that pop off the original harness, plug it into the adapter then connect one end back into the harness and the other to the camera. Pop in the new shroud and central piece and done. Took me like 10-15 minutes total.
Hopefully it works as well as it's designed.

Installation was definitely easy once I knew which cable to use. Use the white cable that goes to rain sensor. Shroud pops off & on. Video looks good. App seems to be pretty good. Videos are great. No issues & looks factory. Thanks for all the good information on here.

Yes, works on any 2019+ G class. No real tips here, the video in the listing is exactly what I did. First time took 10 minutes as I was really careful. Second time it took under 60 seconds.

Received my Mercylion front and rear cameras, also bought the separate hard wire cable to enable the parking mode feature, all seems pretty straight forward to install, but has anyone here actually installed the hard wire cable eg to the under glove compartment fuse box? , which fuse they used etc, any advice appreciated, photos even better.

Ordered this with both the front and rear cameras. I've not installed it yet as I'm inexperienced on how to remove the moldings, pieces etc. to run the wire from front to back. I've watched several videos where they rebuilt a crashed G-wagon which is making me even more apprehensive to do the job. Advice is to not run it along the molding as it can cause leaks when it rains? Anyone know of any good videos on how to remove the appropriate parts to run the cable?

from the video on YT the center piece on the shroud seems to be tricky to remove, if you will, please provide pics.
