Just added a small mod for the G, oem AMG hood emblem. Fits perfectly. Part # A 000 817 03 08
I originally bought a similar part for my c63s and realized MB made 4 different types of these emblems to fit different models. I did have to remove the 2 white rubber pieces behind the original one to put on the new one to make it fit perfectly.
I might need to do this mod for mine along with swapping the plastic airbag cover with the same black stitched leather one from the GLS as a sucker for OEM mods, thanks for sharing

There are 2 white rubber pieces on the emblem that comes with your car. You take those off and put them onto the new one to make it fit snug, otherwise it would be loose.
I really hate to ask about the obvious, but is removing the hood emblem badge as simple as using at trim tool and prying it off the hood? Because I tried that earlier today and that badge would *not* budge a bit....so I just need to hit the weights a bit and give it more force?
