This vehicle definitely has the night package because it has the black mirrors and bullbar but usually you can only get the black top with the night package plus which also includes black wheel arches. Because it is a white magno, I’m guessing it was a special edition build where MB specs it and sends it to high performing dealers, which is why it doesn’t follow the standard build options.

Do you any update on your question. I am having the same challenge. I want the carbon fiber package and I want to make sure I can order the black running board and black exhaust.

 

I was going to order the exterior carbon fiber package, but wasn’t able to order the black running boards and black exhaust tips, so I decided not to order the carbon fiber package. That was the first of July, I don’t know if it’s changed since then.

Yes, I ordered the black chrome package and added the T 81 running boards and exhaust tips. Yes, the smoked turn signals and darkened headlight covers are included. My build is on this thread if you search for it.

 

Have been informed that US market G 63 production has started at Magna Steyr within the last day or so, definitely market introduction models rolling off the line first. Assuming it follows the G 550 timeline, the very first ones should show up at dealers/be released for sale no earlier than the third week of October.

Do you mind to share your complete configuration print.
My local dealer rep keep insisting that is not possible to include outside of the packages the code T81f or the black running boards and CK0 for the black exhaust.
I want to build similar like yours (Performance package+ dark chrome package + T81 and CK0).

I am new to the forum and for some reason unable to send PM. Could you post the image of the complete build? I would also be curious to see your build as I am considering the same. It definitely looks like the order guide does not allow to add carbon exterior with black running boards/exhausts. Does carbon package include the bullbar?

 

I don’t know if the bull bar would be covered in carbon fiber. I tried to order the carbon fiber package and was told, I couldn’t order the running boards and exhaust tips in black with the carbon fiber package, so I decided not to order it.

 

Interesting that it lets you add running boards and exhaust tips in black with dark chrome but not carbon. These mbusa guys are all over the place. My ideal build is carbon on black, fully blacked out. I guess I could always add carbon after. To be honest, I am disappointed in the selection of black paint options as it stands today. I liked the magnetite and platinum which they eliminated. They treat magnetite as some sht paint and no night packages or carbon can be added to it so the only options left are obsidian black or night black magno. Don't love obsidian black and a little concerned with the maintenance of the magno paint (don't want to deal with full ppf and be worried about carwashes). BMW provides much nicer paint options such as carbon black and dravit grey. Wish I could select those lol I have seen people mention the paint-to-sample program that is coming back to g63. Does anyone know what that entails (paint options, cost, time)?

 

I was going to order obsidian black, but they were going to charge me an extra $1200 to have the roof painted in obsidian black. I think it would take a long time to order paint to sample. I really didn’t want magno paint, but I’m going to have it ceramic coated. I hand wash my vehicle, so it shouldn’t be a problem. I would never take it through a brush wash.

 

Apologize if this has been asked already, but confirmed no more wood steering wheel option? Only carbon fiber if you want a "trim" section on the steering wheel?

 

there’s a leather option, people have said since I ordered the carbon fiber steering wheel, it’s not available because of a parts shortage. Not sure if that’s still the case.

 

I wash mine by hand for the most part, but sometimes I just simply do not have the time and this is where I run it through touchless. With ppf I was told handwash only. The g63 in dravit grey from bmw would look stunning. It comes from the same paint manufacturer as the one MB uses. I would consider the paint to sample depending on cost - pay up more upfront but then no ppf and you get something pretty unique. I do not see anything about it except this youtube g63 review (~min 8). Is there nay official information on this?

 

correct, no brush washes with PPF. Check with the GM at your dealership to ask about paint to sample. I’ve heard, it can take up to a year if it can even be done. I don’t know if they’re offering it on the 25 model. I’m sure it’s going to be expensive. How much is wrapping a G, $10K? I had my GT3 wrapped in PPF.

 

Yeah, I was sad to see the black wood trim steering wheel option removed as I had it on my 2024 and loved it

My dealer is submitting my order into the system to see if he can confirm or deny issues with L6H carbon steering wheel, as that would be a deal killer for me

 

Same here, let us know if you’re able to order the CF steering wheel. I have it on my 24 and had it on my 21. Supposed to have all the AMG buttons on the 25.

 

I'm able to order the CF steering wheel, confirmed by my SA... now to decide on ADM and if I want to pay it or not..
