My sales associate viewed the cars at the dealership and the hotel where they resided overnight. Here are his pictures (sorry but no wide exterior shots of the G580). The G550 was also there (no pictures).
I arrived at 8 am and the G63 and G580 were out and about.
Can anyone tell if the wheels pictured are R19 vs R20 option? Grey versus black? Thinking grey myself
Thanks. It would have been nice to have real-time tracking from the factory to arrival! I guess I'll keep bugging the dealer for updates 😬
I'm in Europe, so tracking the ship is not applicable. I hope to have it arrive sooner than projected! 😀
You’re welcome, you used to be able to track BMW’s, but I haven’t had one since 2009. It was a twin turbo X5 diesel which was a lemon and won’t purchase another BMW. Please give us a review once you take delivery. Mine is scheduled for production October 1st.

I was able to track my Porsche Taycan during the entire process as well.
Guys the dealer is telling me that there is some kind of delay in the factory for the manufacturing of the new G63 models - have any one of you heard about that?

no, mine is still scheduled to be built 10/1. I talked to my SA Friday.
If the dealer gives you the name of the ship, you can track the ship. To my knowledge, I think the dealer is the only way to track it.
Find out the ship name and can track it. I did this with a porsche I got, made it that more interesting.
I feel like you can find out the ship name if you are handy with google and do some research as thats what I did. I will try and remember the site you can track the ship for free on.

AIS to track the ship. You have to get the ship’s name from the dealer.

Forget what I said then as I am useless LOL
I do remember that on rennlist I was able to find out the few ships they used and narrowed it down by what was at the doc, maybe thats a way?

The dealer will tell you the name of the ship if you ask. My 21 was on the silver Ray. The dealer can track the entire process.
Didn't work for me last year with my 2024, but hoping it does this go around.. I got the vessel name from my SA, and used a website to track it. Got a screenshot of the ship crossing the Suez Canal from the live feed which was cool
I tracked the shipment of both my 21 G550 and 24 G63 via that site, but yes if you can’t find your PO number or VIN then the only other option is to ask the dealer for the ship name or have them send you any updates.
While the Build This Vehicle option is not yet shown, the initial model information page for the 2025 G580 has been published on the MBUSA site. This shows the 2025 U.S. MSRP is $161,500 before destination.
With all U.S. G580 models this year being Edition 1s and that package priced at $18,250, the overall price snuck in just below $180K before destination and Manufaktur paint or the limited factory options (Rear Seat Entertainment, Black Panel Radiator Grille, and Black Running Boards).
Arabian Grey
Black leather with titanium pearl inserts (interior package plus)
(same spec as my 2023 because I love the combo)
Performance package with 22" cross-spoke wheels (black)
Night Package Plus
Carbon Fiber Trim (unfortunately, the carbon fiber steering wheel was not available when my order was locked)
A few other cosmetic options...

Congrats, mine is scheduled for 10/1 production and supposedly, I’m getting the carbon fiber steering wheel.
