Box under rear cargo area?
I just picked up a 2023 G63. My first G Class and my first MB! So far...I'm loving it!

I was wondering if there was any storage under the cargo floor for tools etc. There is a "box" underneath the cargo area but I don't see a way to access it. Anyone know what this is?

If u remove the cargo area screws that is where your battery is. No room for storage. I installed these for more storage.

@dcarrer0 , it's a very clever addition. However, it looks like it would block the side interior trunk lights, as well as the sliding cover. Is drilling required for installation?

I use them everyday. Lights are fine as shown in pics. I gave away the sliding cover. Never used it anyway. No drilling. 2 bolts.
