Bought it off the floor at my local dealership here in California. Had a $32k market adjustment sticker next to the window sticker, I paid MSRP. First G Wagon and first Mercedes for me, have had many German vehicles both sports cars and otherwise. Had an issue right off the bat driving home got a litany of warnings for various faults that recurred every time I started the truck, dealer took it back the next day and fixed it via some software issue. Parked next to my wife's L405 Range Rover it's shocking how much taller it is. Normally I spec my vehicles if they're expensive, this one I happened to like the spec, this will be my daily driver for a while, I didn't want the big engine, I have a sports car for that. the 550 powertrain seems more than up to the task although I'm still in break in and haven't hammered it.

In the metro NYC area, about 90% of the dealers I know are still asking for ADMs on the 550 but most are settling for MSRP, especially if you have a relationship with them. Similar for the G580. The G63 is a different story.

I keep a sports car for weekend canyon fun here in California, they rotate pretty regularly but have included a GT4 and a 992 911, given my spend on the G550 I currently have a 2024 GR86, the most amazing sports car for the money I've driven.
Pretty light on the options which given the generous spec on the base is fine with me. Not normally a white car guy but something about the way the non-metallic polar white looked with all the black trim worked for me. I especially like it in the shade, in direct sun less so.
Congrats on the new ride! I agree white is a nice color for the G63. The vehicle is definitely taller than most and seems large, but it's actually pretty easy to park and smaller than it looks.
