I'm getting ready for my G-class delivery in a week or so; so just wondering what your favorite G-Class accessory is. For example, for my Taycan, I really loved the color-matched keyfob:

No it is ran along the left side of the center trim, used a black cord and 3M double adhesive tape, and then tucked under the bottom portion just above the sliding console cover. Them plugged into a dual USB charger adapter in the 12v socket. Wires about 90% hidden
and out of the way.
Can see in the pic on bottom right side of cupholder where you see the wires.

The problem with this mount is, it entirely blocks the center of the infotainment system where the important information is.
I have to twist my phone back and forth to see my navigation screen.
There has to be a better phone mount than one that entirely blocks the middle of the vehicles user interface.
For Porsche and BMW for example, you can pull the panel off by your knee and put a mount onto the side. Does anyone make anything like this? It would be so much better.

I purchased this for my 2025 G550, but it doesn’t seem to work. I suspect the issue might be due to slight differences in the dashboard design of the new model, since the clock has been removed. Does anyone have an alternative solution for using an iPhone with this vehicle?
