Can the headlight DRLs / Rings be disabled?
Can the headlight DRLs / Rings be disabled?
Hey Everyone:
Does anyone know if the daytime running lights (you know, those rings / circles that are illuminated when the headlights are off) can be disabled?
DRLs used to be easily disabled via coding, but times have certainly changed. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

As for why I want to disable them … I don’t like them on my cars, when I can avoid it.
Plus, the desert G is loud enough. A little less “look at me” would be nice.
If they were more than just big circles (eyeglasses), I could be convinced!Last edited by DesertSand; Apr 8, 2025 at 01:55 AM.
I checked in my vehicle settings and looks like DRLs can be deactivated. Here are the instructions from my operator's manual. If you don't have these settings available then perhaps MB no longer allows for DRLs to be disabled on the 2025's?

Awesome! I will give this a try later in the week and report back.
