car looks very nice esp with that color ...i didnt know of any G63 production, is this a custom one of a kind car with the new engine or does it in fact have a V12 inside

ya its a real V12, ill take some pics of the engine tomorrow and post them. I think there is only 12 or so G 63's made. The sound on the exhaust is pretty amazing.

Very nice ride. Not keen on the rims. Guess you don't hit the ruff stuff? What hp?

What did you put in it for seating?

Did you go with two captain's chairs in the second row, or a bench seat for three?

And was special trim done inside?

It is called a '63' becuase it has the 6.3L V12 in it -- not becuase it has the new 6.2L -63 NA engine in it.

You will also notice that this is not an 'XXL' -- has not been stretched to add third row seating.

@ClayJ: I get the impression he bought it second hand as he is referring to hin 'new' G63. These models are from around 2001 right?

That was my impression when I first came across the thread - thought that it should be badged as a 'G65' if it was done recently - but I am not entirely sure about the 'rules' or the 'norm' for badging on an AMG Manufaktur custom-build. Yes, the older ones of these with the V12 were badged as -63's as far as I know, and the latest ones that I have had or seen done were badged as -65's....

Very nice. I've never seen a G63 before, didn't even know they existed.

i wouldnt be surprised if it were second hand only because the mirrors do not have the turn signal lights on them, and because many of the G63s (the v12s, that cost around EURO250K) were purchased by, generally speaking, UAE residents. nice ride, nice color, though every other G in the UAE is that color, and again, I don't like the rims, actually any rims that make the car look like it was rented for a music video.

sorry for the delay, ya i got the car from my friend, one of the Sheikhs, 2nd hand but with only 1200 km on it,so barely broken in. The interior has the all the woodgrain trim in it and is black interior, will take pics soon. I dont offroad with this car since I have the 400 TDI G also which I use for having fun.

The car was originally 900k dirahms, and my friend that I purchased this car from replaced it with the $330k brabus G which is must faster. I will post engine pics tomorrow but I must say the exhaust is amazing to hear.

freshh color and car.. not feelin those rims though.. shoulda stuck with the stock AMGs

Yes, the G63 was built in 2004 by AMG in both LWB and in XXL (stretched) versions. As far as I know, of the 10-12 that were built at least two of them are in the UAE, including the one above. It uses the old naturally aspirated V12 engine.

AMG has actually recently produced a handful of G65 Bi-turbo's for select customers. I've seen one in the UAE (again in white) which belongs to the person who owns my apartment building...pic below (the one on the left is a G65 and the one on the right is a G55k, he also has a black G55 Kompressor with Brabus styling kit):
