Actually, there are several changes other than the new wheels and front grill. There's a new hard drive based navigation system with better bluetooth and ipod integration, improved 450W harmon/kardon sound system now featuring Dolby PLII Surround Sound, ventilated seats (critical feature in the UAE's hot summers), power increase to 507hp, improved 4ETS with hill-start feature, suede headliner, some new colors, etc.

I'm not sure if thats the first car.
I think this is the first car.
It was spotted at the Cityscape a couple of weeks back.

Who u asking? ....
IMO.... ask yourself a self-check question "Do I want an American-built Mercedes-Benz (lord knows what a disaster they had and still have on the ML-CLASS quality, not to mention how it tarnished the name of the ML prolly forever!), or do I want a European-built QUALITY AUTOMOBILE?"!
No offense but they might as well have built the ML in China....the labour would have been even cheaper yet....OH DID I SAY CHEAPER???
Sorry, lesser value! EXACTLY.

You really need to drive both to make that decision.
In my experience, the ML (07 and newer) is actually of better build quality/design than the G55. I love my G55, but the new ML63 is sweet.
Yes, it's got the Chrysler influence in materials inside, but is quieter, smoother and faster. Handles MUCH better and "focused" driving isn't as much of a requirement.
The G55 remains a tank. The ML is more refined.
I like both.

its will be back to camels for you!
UAE has a few years left of fun then we can watch the global tourist resort try and carry the country. I mean the thing i think of when I plan a $400k vacation is flying to the middle of a sandy desert with man made islands shaped like palm trees and the world. Good luck with that dream of being #1. The water over there must have some good stuff added to it.

To respond to your comments, firstly I think they have got more than just few years left of oil. Their reserves exceeds 40 years. Secondly, things that have been done there are amazing and gutsy. I mean building islands in the shape of a palm or the world are fantastic projects that no one dared to think about or do. SO, for a developiong country to get where dubai is standing today, and in that short period of time is an achievement and an accomplishment that the people of UAE should be proud of, and I am sure they are.
And going to your point about spending $400K in a sandy desert, I dont think you can afford or spend that amount of money in a single vacation anywhere in the world. I suggest you go and visit Dubai and I am sure you will be impressed by the projects they have done so far. Some people still have that image of people riding camels in the desert, and living in tents over there. But guess what? People actually live in houses that are air conditioned and they have bathrooms with water in it, and they actually drive cars, not camels.
When their oil runs out, they might go back to riding camels, but you will be walking or riding a bicycle down those highways in LA.
Good luck to you sir

God this is one of my dream cars....ofcourse it must come equipped with a set of beefier all-terrain tires, 2 Hella's in the grille, a winch, and a light bar on top, with a couple gas cans
