Besides the G 55 there is an AMG-Special as well: The G 63 AMG V12 with 444 bhp / 620 NM torque.

Definitively! - The G-class is as aerodynamic as an open toilet seat.

lol.. i remember seeing a quote from Ferrari saying something along the lines of

"aerodynamics are for those who can't build engines"

its funny because some ferrari's are the most aerodynamic cars ever made

Just did a search and was convinced. It's crazy

Actually I think a toilet seat would do better, it's more rounded and drop shaped than the G wagen.

I read somewhere that G wagen at high speeds from within the cabin sounds like a jet taking off. Due to all of the wind resistance it has to cut through. That would be the only SUV I would by If I ever bought an SUV.

that X5 4.6is seems very very nice.. even more knowing that i cna only get a G55 max in my area!

The top speed could be higher with better aerodynamics. I think the 0-100 kph is more of a mass versus power issue. Gotta get a Kompressor.
