lowering center of gravity
Lowered it with Brabus suspension(1.5 inches, Kleemann offers 2 inches) got wider tires(even with spacers) and even contemplated a carbon fiber roof...
bottom line... It will help a little, but the overall stature of the G just doesnt make it economically feasible to lower the center of gravity enough to give you a safer feel for the truck when driving erratically.
There is a great deal of weight in the chassis/frame versus the body work.

The same issue became actual for me since I`m moving from lovely CLS55 to BlackSquare G55 ( locally we call G55s "Malevich" - I`m from Almaty, Kazakhstan. It seems to be some kind of tribute to Kazimir`s masterpiece )) ).
Never worried `bout smoother suspension feeling, I`m kinda rock-solid suspension lover.
The question is - will Eibach PRO-KIT lowering springs work with stock shocks considering promised 40mm drop? Is it true every shock model are factory tuned to be most effective near initially designed neutral +/- suspension tension/stretching range.
Neutral point will surely shift 40 mm with new springs - will it affect shocks behavior or lifetime either?
Thanks in advance!
