Will be fitting up the H&R wheel spacers, full carbon interior from MAcarbon and also the Brembo big brake kit, I'll post some updated pics as the mods are installed.

Thanks for that, it will look even better once the mods are all finished. Looking forward to getting them done.
After reading a lot of the posts about how harsh the ride is I was surprised when I drove it out of the showroom. It's not as firm as what you would take on the track but also not too soft that it wallows over bumps. Too me the ride is perfect, love it.
Gonna get a G55/63. to travel between china and hong kong. So the ride quality to me is a determining factor.

The next kit up from here is the K4 kit with the only difference being the addition of the larger throttle bodies. The 2011 G55 already comes with larger throttle bodies stock from AMG so I only need to install the K3 kit to get the power increase of the K4 (620Hp and 900Nm): Kleemann 55-K4 Kit

Re the ride, it's a fairly firm ride however it's no different to any other AMG vehicle (which are mostly firm). I drove an E63 today and it was very similar. If you are wanting a soft ride it's not going to be the best choice. But everything is a compromise, soft ride = soft handling.

Removed chrome strips along the side
Also removed all of the badges and had all of the lens smoked out (except the main headlights)

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I've had some additional mods installed recently. Apologies for the average pics (took these with my phone), will get better ones posted up when time permits.

MAcarbon interior
I picked up the interior carbon trim pieces from John at MAcarbon. Fantastic service and a really nice guy as well. I can highly recommend the quality of the MAcarbon pieces. I have the new steering wheel with carbon inserts coming and also the new G55 carbon gear knob. Will post some more pics when these arrive:

This kit has only just been released by Benz for the new ML series. They don't show it as an option for the G55 but I was able to order the parts and we worked out how to install it. Where there's a will, there's a way !!

Will post some more pics as it all comes together.

Just would like know, can the G Class upgrade the Brembo big brake kit without the spacer ?
Do you also upgrade a different brake fluid and stainless steel brake line ?
thanks.

The Brembo kit includes new stainless braided brake lines but doesn't come with any brake fluid. I changed the stock brake fluid out for Castrol SRF race fluid.
MB Australia don't show a carbon interior option for the G55. I special ordered a piece in from MB in Germany to have a look at and Hovyamg is correct, the quality of the carbon from MAcarbon is far better than the OEM Merc pieces.

Enjoy your new trim, it fits your car perfectly.
Three-four years ago, I was in the works to have the wood of my 09 G55 converted to CF with MAcarbon (but the vehicle was stolen). I remember John telling me it takes about 3-4 weeks and he needed all the parts, makes sense now. If I recall right, the CF work is done in Belgium.

It is possible, a car that came a couple of weeks after mine into the dealership had it done along with Matte paint. Looked good but I still preferred my Piano black.
It was requested and approved for about $4k
I asked for red stitching instead of the white on the leather and was told it could be done......but at a price of about $50k AUD ~ $55k USD
Front headlight and indicator grills:

Can also just see the rear light grill covers

Here's a pic parked next to the other toy. Very much chalk and cheese but you can't beat the attitude of the G55.

, you could of ordered the CF interior from the dealer for what it's worth.
