Brake Pad/Rotor Replacement on 09 G55, Aftermarket????

Hi, I need to get new brake pads and rotors on my 09 G55 soon. Are there aftermarket options that are better (and potentially cheaper) than OEM? The dealership is a rip-off for OEM.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. What is the difference with Centric vs. OEM? Are they comparable or better?

These prices are better than what I paid for OEM if I recall. The whole job for fronts was well over 1k.

@3wd, assuming performance is on par, are these more/less/equivalent in terms of longevity versus OEM?

Hello,

The longevity is all based upon driving circumstances. If the vehicle tows, if driver has heavy foot, stop and go, going 100MHP then stopping, etc... But as for "normal" driving, the longevity should be the same as OEM.

Thank you!

We use Centric rotors on our race car with great results. Have them on our S55 and SL55 as well. Great value.
If you don't like brake dust try Akebono pads.

Hi,check this Canadian provider Crossdrilledrotors , the prices are rather reasonable as for me. If I needed a good pads, I would definitely order ones there as my brother has some brake parts from this store.
