2011 G55/G550 differential lockers in LOW?

Hi guys, I’m struggling to get an answer about differential lockers for G55/G550 from 2009-2011, and I did some research but no one had completely cleared whether the 2011 G can be locked in HIGH or in LOW-range only, and whether the 2011 can be driven in HIGH-range mode or not.

I've heard 2013 and 2014 cannot get locked in HIGH-range mode, and cannot drive in HIGH-range mode. and 2015 got it fixed, that is why I missed my opportunity to own a glendwagon. HOWEVER, I checked couple reviews for G from 2008-2016, all yellow stickers that placed closely to the differential lockers are "engaged differential locks limit the ability to move around curves" for US market, otherwise, Mercedes had different sticker for Mideast, Euro, and Asian market as" Activation only possible in Low-Range mode". BUT, I also checked Owner's Manual from 2008-2016, starting from 2011 to 2014, it indicated "You can only engage the differential locks when the transfer case is in off-road gear LOW", and starting from 2015, Mercedes had this line removed, STILL the fist step of locking differential is "To engage: switch the transfer case to the LOW RANGE off-road driving position" on the Owner's Manual which year before 2010(included) does not.

That's why I got confused and I am still having questions:
1. Can the 2011 G55/G550 get differential locked in LOW-range mode only? or HIGH is OK, since Mercedes started to limit it for LOW only in 2013/2014 for US market excluded only (stickers).
2. Starting from 2015, from what I understand in the Owner's manual, differential can be locked in LOW but can drive in HIGH? Which 2011?/2013/2014 cannot.

Thanks

Why do you want them all locked and in high?

According to the WIS doc, the requirement to lock them starts with it being in Low range. So I doubt you can switch to high after without the locks releasing.

So true. But the doc you uploaded is for model year 2013 and after (2011 as well probably), I am pretty sure that model year 2010 and before can be locked in HIGH. Might be I just thought that is practical and I can drive on ice or sand.

I couldn't find a similar doc for the older trucks, either confirming or denying the need for low.

There is no reason to have the diffs all locked in high gear. It's for off-road use and low speed maximum traction situations. If you can go faster than 50mph, you don't need to lock the diffs.

I think once on solid sand or ice/snow, central locked in high would help the performance (speed above approximately 37 mph <60 km/h>, traction control <ABS&ESP>will kick-in, but ESP can be deactivated manually, page 60-64, owner's manual for 2013 model; which on 2011 owner's manual, it indicates "Traction control remains active if you deactivate ESP®.") yeah, quite different.

I mean no need for that much torque on sand or ice, and since Mercedes has the stunning 4matic system or whatever they have on G wagon, you pretty much no need to activate lockers in most of the situations.
And according to the maintenance, repairing and safety issue, and barely used all lockers in modern day as a luxury suv, Mercedes changed the settings as it now. This is what I googled.
