I'm liking the 550 motor in the CLK 
but I'm not gonna buy another Merc unless the next gen CLK has a folding hard top. The new 335 cabrio is looking mighty sweet. It's on bmwusa.com right now.

There are definitely some nice alternatives coming out right now. That new 335 BMW sounds like a lot of fun, and the Infiniti M45 is an excellent car under some pretty boring styling. Nonetheless, that new e550 with an improved suspension and steering sounds like one heck of a car. I haven't driven it yet, but it sure sounds like a beast.

i've lost count
i'd say that about both bmw's and mercedes' newest offerings.
most are absolutely ugly. it's a shame they have to have these awesome drivetrains going into cars that are just hack-job designs.
the new 335 coupe is about the only car from the two makers that looks decent enough to inspire any desire from me.

the new S series has the worst sheet metal work to date.
bmw's newest 5 series is nice, the new jag coupe is nice.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I love the new MB's and the older MB's, but I dont like MB customer service. I doubt that my next car will be another MB. Sad to say. Probably move to BMW or acura after this. I like the new RL.
