Questions about keyless go and bluetooth..

1) Is Keyless Go worth it?

2) If you have Keyless Go and want to just sit in the car (with the engine off) and lock the doors, will it allow you to do it?

3) Does Keyless Go unlock just the driver's door?

4) Does the bluetooth work well?

I had keyless-go in my E55 and when i was looking for an S500 or S55 i had to have it, in my opinion it it one of the best options and most useful option ever. I don't think you would be able to lock the key in the car (says the manual) or be able to lock yourself in the car with the key in it. As for bluetooth i have read a lot of post that have lead me to believe it is all about the kind of phone you have. Good luck and hope i helped.

you can just sit there in the car, just press the start button without putting your foot on the brake

Its has a cool factor that may wear off after a while. I like how it looks and i like using it, but I'm not used to it yet. Every time i step out the car, i reach for the keys and forget that i used keyless, and they're sitting in one of my pockets. Another great thing is the ability to unlock all the doors and the trunk without scrambling for your keys. I dont recall numbers exactly but i think its about 1000-1500, which in my opinion is worth it. Now, if it was deciding between spending the money on keyless go or puting the money towards upgrading from a P1 package to a P2 package, forget the keyless go.

Gimmick at best....

I don't get keyless go. You still have to carry something, but I believe when the battery on it goes out you're really stuck....unlike the key fob with metal door key insert. So you pay $X for a 'feature' that allows you to enter your car without pushing a button and start it by pushing a button instead of inserting a key and turning it but can leave you stranded? Then has an annoying beep for a while after you exit the car. The key fob gives you all the same remote features. What am I missing here?

It's all about convenience. Keyless go is my favorite option it get's used every time I drive the car unlike Distronic which I have used twice.
