Yep "terror" reports, lord know's why the Dakar has gone though a couple of war torn countries before, personally i hope the bin West Africa and do a Lisbon to Cape Town again.

Lots of organizations get direct threats all the time, very few are ever made "good" of ..
It is just a pitty the dakar, a race largely contested by France(one of the few G5/7 Country's that opposed the War on Iraq) get targeted...
Bom the Baja 1000 , not the Dakar..

Issues the crews M-16s; mount M-60s on the hood with a couple of gunships for air cover. Overfly the course with FLIR and mine detection gear. Then strategically station two Delta crews. Semper Fi
