Euro delvery benefits for dealer?
If I opt for european delivery, is this better for the dealer? It seems that he gets to avoid quotas, at least. How else does this benefit him? I'm looking for bargaining chips here. The ideal answer would measure it in dollars. Thanks.

If you think that you can nickel and dime a MB dealer and European delivery, good luck.
The plus is the MB museum visit/delivery hospitality, experience of German legendary efficiency and free transportation while vacationing in Europe.

We can take Euro-delivery but that's it.

On European delivery, does MB not provide for complimentary Hotel accomodations during pick-up in Stuttgart and drop-off at several European cities?? I thought that that was standard MB practice, no matter what your nationality - if you select Euro delivery via your local MB dealer.

Before Canadians buying AMG models were given the red carpet same as USA customers taking delivery in Europe. In 1998 they cancelled that priviledge.

Robert Schrader, your US MB dealer should consider a surcharge...

If there are any benefits to the dealer, I can't find any other than there usually are no discounts from the MSRP. There have been exceptions, of course. As mentioned, cars sold for Euro delivery don't count toward their allocation.
