Hey everyone,
I was just wondering for those of you that may have more than one mercedes, do you get the keys mixed up at all sometomes? Since they all look very similar, I was just wondering if you ever grabbed the wrong ones out the door, and then had to go try and figure out which ones were the ones that you wanted. Just a thought I had.
My wife and I both have C230s (hers is a silver 06 and mine is a midnight blue 05). Shortly after we got them, we took her car on a trip to the beach and as usual, I drove. I ALWAYS have to have my keys with me (I think I got it from my father), but I cannot leave my keys at home, I have to have them with me at all times. We stopped to go to the store on the way and when we went to get back into the car, I couldn't open the door with my fob. We were getting concerned that maybe we were already having problems with her car. Finally, my wife, who just happened to have her key tried it to open the doors. Of course it worked so we figured out that I was trying to open the door with the fob for MY car instead of the fob for my her car! This, even after I painted the end of my fob blue so I'd know which car it belonged to!
