Will Mercedes Bring New Pickup to the States?

which doesn't fit with the MB demographics.Here in the Southwest where pickups are king and frequently cost as much or more than many MB models, I think they will sell a few. Certainly more than they sold of the R class but probably not enough to maintain it here in the long term.
How many other countries out there have consumers lining up to buy luxury pickups that cost $40,000 - $60,000 that don't really NEED to use them for hauling stuff. The buyer they WON’T get is guy who has a 28ft Chapparral to haul to the lake or tows a classic car to shows on weekends. They won’t get the buyer who takes his truck offroad for hunting a few times a year.
