question on ordering a car.......
hey!! im just curious, when you order a Mercedes at a dealership, do you have to pay any kind of down payment or anything??and how long does it take for your car to arrive at the dealership?thanks!!

It would take about 1 - 2 months to get the car, usually the AMG cars take longer. Sometimes you can be lucky if another dealership has the same car, with the same options you ordered, and could see it within a week.
But 1 - 2 months is the average.

I personally haven't. I have just ordered the SLK 55, and that should be here in about 3 months tops; because it isn't released yet.
There are individuals on this board who have ordered their cars with special options, and they came in quick.

They asked me to put down $1000 when I ordered and I had it within a month, although it just so happened that an SLK was just rolling off the assembly line with all the options I was looking for, so I got that one.

I did put $1K when ordering C240 back at the end of 2000 (dec). Got the car on Apr 7,2001.
