Massive Recall Starting In April
Vehicles recalled: 1,292,258 vehicles from the 2016 to 2021 model years, including certain CLA-Class, GLA-Class, GLE-Class, GLS-Class, SLC-Class, A-Class, GT-Class, C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, CLS-Class, SL-Class, B-Class, GLB-Class, GLC-Class, and G-Class models.
The problem: The software design of the communication module may fail to send the correct vehicle location for the emergency call system (eCall) in the event of a crash.
The fix: The communication module software will be updated by a dealership or over the air, depending on the model. The repair will be performed at no charge.
How to contact the manufacturer: Owners may call MBUSA customer service at 877-762-8267.

For OTA updates, I wonder if the system will advise one after the update is done? I know my COMAND unit notified me after it did a map update OTA.

I'm guessing we'll get a notification in email from the Mercedes Me webpage message section. I got one for the last map update.

Has anyone been able to see Mercedes Me subscription doing OTA update for 21V058000 without visiting Dealer? I called dealer because I received a mail today which specifically says that Mercesdes Me subscribers have no need to visit dealer however dealer says that I need to bring it in?
Last update on Mercedes Me is Infotainment update 3/21/2021. Would the OTA via Mercedes Me come some time later? Anyone with any success so far?
I noticed there is another ESP update recall which is coming up soon 21V071 (2021020030) . I am going to hold off dealer visit until I receive a mail for this and visit dealer for both recall at once.
