I’ve been using this app now for 4 months and it’s beyond me how a company like Mercedes or it’s partners cannot develop a proper app!
the Face ID works and then doesn’t. The car under the shroud still not fixed. Have the time I try and start the car, the app fails.

Works significantly better than the old app for me. I'm in the USA, though, and they just pushed out another update recently that added the personalization back. Seems like they are rolling things out at a different pace in the different markets. I have no issue with Face ID. Takes me in every time. I don't even have to login every time I open the app. It's already logged in. I don't really use remote start, but I tried it a couple of times to get the fluids circulating in the car before getting in and driving of and it worked each time. The new app finally makes it clear that the car needs to be locked for remote start to work. Also the battery needs to be fully charged. Could be that your car doesn't get a good enough signal where you are trying it or given the pandemic you are not driving it enough to keep a sufficient battery charge. The covered generic car image got fixed for me a few weeks ago. I now see my car in the app as well as in the web portal. I opened several tickets with support until it finally got fixed. Pretty much everything works much better now in the new app. With the old app the notifications were never reliable for example, but they work now. They haven't rolled out all the services here in the USA yet, but we seem to be getting an update every few weeks with new features. They promised to update the app regularly and so far that's exactly what's been happening.

Ok thanks, can't wait. The MB app remote start works about 5-10% of the time so I'm looking for another solution.
I can’t stand the app! It seems like on Sundays the remote start doesn’t like to work. I wish we could turn on heat (in the winter time) with the app. I would be happy if the remote start would work!
